Throwback Tuesday: Linkin Park- Numb

I’VE BECOME SO NUMB

Anyone who knows me, knows that I’m a rukasz gaal (rook-asz ga-al). I’m a rock fan. More of the late 90s and 00s rock era. I was feeling a different vibe today. One thing I admire about rock is that it’s the one genre of music where you can scream to the top of your lungs how much you can’t stand the world, and everyone feels what you’re saying.

If it’s one group that has helped me get through dealing with depression an anxiety, it’s definitely this band here, LINKIN PARK.
Even though some aspect of the black culture still denies rock music, Linkin Park is one of the few rock bands that the hip hop world (during my era) has accepted. You know you’re a part of the culture when Jay-Z can do a collaboration with you. It was such a sad day for many fans of Linkin Park when they received news of Chester Bennington’s death.

Linkin Park definitely took rock to another level. So let’s throw it back to Linkin Park’s track Numb off of the infamous album Meteora.
